Remedial Work to 3 No Beauchamp Street Leaky Buildings
We have remediated the three existing leaky houses by:
- Installation of scaffolded tent over each building as work progressed
- Remove the existing spouting and upper floor decks, then
- Extend the existing roof to form eaves overhangs with
- New roofing, internal gutters, spouting and downpipes over the extensions.
- Remove all the existing exterior cladding and windows then
- Reinsulated all exterior walls
- New A-Lign timber weatherboards cladding over new cavity system, over new building wrap with new aluminium joinery windows.
The end result that the clients are extremely happy with, is a clean new warmly insulated building with much lower risk leak risk indices done by removing the exterior decks, creating eaves and installing new weatherboard cladding on a cavity system.
